This website will eventually contain information about
all Saturday mens senior football leagues played in Leicestershire.
The scope of the site will be :
1) All leagues in Leicestershire
2) All cup competitions in Leicestershire
3) All teams based in Leicestershire (even teams who play in national competitions
or competitions based outside the county)
4) All teams outside Leicestershire who play or have played in Leicestershire
based league or cup competitions.
My final aim is to have competition details from the year the league or cup
competition was first played, up to the current day, or the year that the
competition finished.
The information that I hope to be able to show for league competitions will
be as follows (in priority order)
1) The winners of the league.
2) The second place team in the league.
3) The final league table.
4) A complete results grid.
5) A complete list of matches with dates played.
6) Goalscorers.
7) Team lineups.
The information that I hope to be able to show for cup competitions will
be as follows (in priority order)
1) The winners of the cup.
2) The runners up in the cup.
3) All results for all rounds.
4) A complete list of matches with dates played.
5) Goalscorers.
6) Team lineups.
I shall try to inform you of the level of detail that I have on each page
so if anyone can help me fill the gaps then you'll know what information
I am missing.
At the moment I want to have as much information out there even if only
part of the details exist for a particular season.
To aim for accuracy I shall attempt to get all results verified from at
least three different sources.
