This was a relatively short lived competition, running from the 2009/10 season until the 2012/13 season. When the Junior Cup ended, it was replaced by two cup competitions, the Saturday Intermediate Cup and the Saturday Plate. The Saturday Plate was contested by the reserve teams of clubs whos first teams competed at a higher level than the Leicestershire Senior League.
